Sami Whitcomb

Whitcomb is starting Thursday's game against the Aces, freelance Mercury writer Jeff Metcalfe reports.

Whitcomb shifted to the bench for Monday's game against Dallas, but she'll rotate right back into the starting five for Thursday's season finale. Alexa Held will shift to the bench as a result. Whitcomb is averaging 7.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists in her previous eight appearances as a starter.
