Ezi Magbegor

The Storm announced Thursday that Magbegor suffered a torn ACL during the FIBA World Cup and will miss the remainder of the season.

Magbegor went down with an apparent lower-leg injury in the first quarter of Australia's win over Italy on Wednesday, and she's since been diagnosed with a torn ACL. It's possible that the 27-year-old will be sidelined for the majority of the 2027 season as well. With Magbegor done for the year, Awa Fam, Stefanie Dolson and Mackenzie Holmes will all be asked to help pick up the slack for the Storm.
